Executive Recruitment Manager - Technology - 12 month FTC
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Executive Recruitment Manager to sit within our Executive Search (ES) team. This team supports the external recruitment of Partners and some strategic Directors into the firm. The team also supports on providing proactive diversity studies, talent pooling and wider people intelligence reports.
You will have advanced project management and client relationship skills, ideally gained in an internal search function within a Technology company. You will enjoy dealing with senior level candidates and be looking to build a career in internal executive resourcing. Ideally, you will have experience of working in professional or financial services, although this is not essential.
This new role is to support a project in SAP and Tech Consulting, so experience in tech consulting will be advantageous.
The role is to be based in London or Manchester.
About the role
You will be responsible for managing and driving the search function within the specific Line of Service (LoS) and/or firm’s strategic growth areas. This involves market mapping, approaching leading talent in specific organisations, monthly project reporting, candidate management as well as senior internal relationship management.
You will be expected to work closely with the business to understand their strategic executive hiring requirements and consider the implications for the overall talent strategy.
You will work with colleagues in the ES team to refine a best practice approach to the research process, knowledge management infrastructure and our in house CRM systems.
You will have responsibility to manage end-to-end search projects at Partner and strategic Director level and liaise closely with colleagues within the Experienced Hire teams.
You will manage senior stakeholder relationships and building a specific LoS network independently of existing team relationships.
In addition, you will be required to operationally manage strategic relationships with our search firm PSL and be confident in negotiating commercially with them.
Essential skills needed for the role:
Able to absorb and assimilate information quickly, enabling you to get to grips with new roles and business areas.
- Experience of both research and delivery of executive search, ideally complimented by experience within an internal search/ recruitment function or RPO
- Solid knowledge and experience of the tech market
- Experience in delivering multi hire recruitment campaigns at all levels
Good communicator, both verbally and in writing.
Thorough with an organised and structured approach to work.
Delivery focussed with an ability to navigate ambiguity.
Able to think laterally and present creative ideas to ES and the business.
Strong networker, able to quickly develop relationships externally and internally.
Comfortable presenting information to senior stakeholders and engaging with them.
Desirable skills sought for the role:
Knowledge of executive search - Ideally, previous experience of both retained executive search as well as being able to contribute to general candidate sourcing more widely.
Knowledgeable about databases and web research particularly use of Linkedin.
Specialist knowledge of a particular business area.
