The BOS Finance Director will be part of the Network’s Finance Operations team and will report to the Global Information Finance Operations Director with a dotted line to the BOS Programme PMO Lead. In this period of unprecedented change at PwC, this Finance Director role is critical in ensuring proper financial control and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain effective working relationship with the BOS Programme Leader, BOS PMO Lead, BOS Workstream Leaders and their teams.
Establish a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with theBOS Programme Board, NLT COOs, BOS BV Operating Committee and BOS BV Directors.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with BOS shareholder territories and other territories providing resources to the BOS programme.
Provide reporting to support decision making by BOS leadership and governance groups
Responsible for ensuring that controls are in place and operating effectively across all BOS financial processes
Lead and develop the BOS finance team - in multiple locations
Manage the relationship with PwC Netherlands who provide bookkeeping and other accounting services to the BOS programme. Manage and monitor fees and SLAs.
Ensure budget and forecast processes are carried out and reviewed.
Take ultimate responsibility for BOS BV cash management.
Present annual financial statements to the BOS BV Operating Committee and Directors.
Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.
Experience and Knowledge:
Qualified member of an accountancy body or holder of an equivalent qualification
Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
Strong executive presence to work with senior leaders in the firm
High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
Energetic, highly motivated, with an enquiring mind and passion for excellence
Location: Ideally, we’d like this candidate located in the US, UK, Netherlands or Germany
The role is open as a Permanent opportunity or a 2 year FTC / Secondment for the right candidate.
