Who we are looking for

PwC is looking for a Salesforce Director to work within our insurance focused technology consulting team. We are looking for people with experience of digitally enabled customer solutions in the life insurance and wealth sector. You should be able to sell a strategic vision and lead transformation projects (origination, proposition development and delivery).

Within the field of Technology Consulting this is a senior level appointment for a Director to be responsible for:

  • Client Delivery: You’ll be responsible for leading our insurance focussed Salesforce transformation services for clients to deliver business value.

  • Business Development: You’ll be responsible for providing Insurance focussed Salesforce advice and support on client proposals and presentations for complex engagements or elements of highly complex programmes.

  • Thought Leadership: You’ll create innovative insights for clients looking to leverage the latest technology developments in the digital space (Robo Advice, Chat bot) to improve their Sales force strategies and contribute to thought leadership.

  • Practice Development: You’ll will be responsible for the ongoing development of the Insurance focussed Salesforce practice including new offerings, as well as recruitment, on boarding, and ongoing mentoring and coaching of our people.

The ideal candidate would be interested in either progressing their career to the next level with an aim of becoming a candidate for partnership in an average two to four year timescale or a subject matter expert happy to remain in the Salesforce space.

Essential skills & experience
  • Salesforce background with deep associated technology. E.g. Cloud

  • Experience of emerging technologies e.g. Robo Advice, Chat Bot

  • A track record of sales and delivery within a similar environment

  • First class delivery skills of large, complex and multi-vendor projects
    Business acumen to identify client’s real business needs which PwC can satisfy

  • Experience of working with large global clients on an international basis with multiyear execution

  • Experience of working across industry in a consulting capacity with particular reference to the wholesale and retail markets

  • Strong experience & network within the financial services and particularly insurance industry;

  • Experience of Agile

  • Business transformation

  • Technical implementation

  • Business acumen to identify client’s real business needs which PwC can satisfy

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & networking ability to develop and nurture contacts

  • A track record of coaching and developing team members
