Contingent Workforce Manager - London - 12 month FTC

PwC is looking to the future and part of our approach is have a flexible workforce in terms of where they work, how they work and when they work. To support this flexibility we are in the process of expanding our network of Contingent Workers. Reporting to the Head of Contingent Workforce Management, you will be responsible for the helping to build a talent pool of contingent workers either directly or through 3rd party providers.
PwC wants to capitalise on this opportunity given the strength of our brand and the quality and breadth of our client base.
We are looking for an experienced contingent recruitment manager who has plenty of drive, who is looking to use their entrepreneurial and operational skills to help us develop and scale the businesses in a short period of time.
The individual will be a delivery focused and organised project manager, who will quickly familiarise themselves with the PwC brand and what that stands for and able to sell the proposition to the right calibre candidates. In return we offer the ability to be part of a new and exciting business.
About the role
The role will evolve as the businesses develops, but essentially it will require someone to take ownership of the talent attraction, screening and relationship management of our Contingent Workers pool. The successful candidate will help us scale the business and provide insight in making the operation best-in-class from a legal contractor recruitment perspective.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential to become a permanent role.
Specifically the role is likely to include:
Working with the firm’s existing recruitment and talent team to:
Develop the right talent attraction plans and deliver these through the appropriate channels;
Search for and build the contingent workers talent pool on an ongoing basis;
Working with the Partners / Directors in the business to develop an efficient and robust screening process;
Partner with our onboarding and payroll outsource provider, to ensure a seamless candidate experience;
Work with the Partners / Directors to ensure all onboarding processes are working effectively and where issues are identified, suggest alternative options;
Take responsibility for development of all aspects of developing the business;
Challenge and bring independent entrepreneurial ideas to make this project a huge success and appealing to the contractor market.
