About the team
We are looking for a strong, credible, highly motivated individual who is interested in a new challenge to get involved in the ”My Financepartner" business. My Financepartner is PwC's digital accounting service for small and medium sized growing businesses.
This represents an opportunity to be part of an innovative new service offering and part of an exciting and rapidly growing team within PwC.
At the heart of the service offering is a team of local “Financepartners” who will deliver the role of trusted business advisors and focus on a growth agenda for both clients and PwC. They are supported through the UK finance centre in Belfast, supporting systems and processes and generating accounts and reports, along with an innovative cloud accounting platform.
Our overall objective is to support the growth of ambitious businesses across the UK. To achieve this we will work collaboratively with our clients, complementing their existing finance teams and working with senior management to enable them to run even better businesses.
You will be part of an enthusiastic team of over 35 people based in Belfast and will manage a small team of 'Client Delivery Leads' This team manage the relationships with our clients nationally.
About the role
Do you have experience delivering a range of core services to a diverse portfolio of clients that includes management accounts, financial analysis, VAT returns, month end support etc. Are you passionate about delivering a high quality service and looking to add value to a new and growing client base? The role is primarily based in the Belfast office but may require some travel from time to time to help support our client base throughout the UK. We would consider a part-time working arrangement with this position.
Essential skills and experience
Candidates must demonstrate that they are self-motivated and have a willingness to enhance their accounting and advisory knowledge. In addition, the candidate should possess, or have the desire to possess, the following skills:
Qualified/ Part Qualified ACA /ACCA / CIMA
Team management experience
Strong client relationship / handling, communication and project management skills.
Experience in managing multiple stakeholders
Extensive experience working knowledge of management accounts including SME experience and ability to work in a team
