Workday Test Services Lead

The PwC Workday Support team has responsibility for delivering support and operational activities to 153 member firms across the PwC network, which includes approximately 230,000 partners and staff.
The Test Lead will coordinate all resources assigned to the testing services team and be ultimately accountable for the provision of ongoing testing services to the network alongside ensuring that any tools associated with testing are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating of test resources within the team including forecasting demand and working with the Workday HC Service Director to ensure sufficient testing coverage during peak activities.
Delivery of test strategies and required testing scripts as appropriate for the specific requirement to be tested, including agreement of testing exit criteria for the change being validated.
Supporting stakeholders within the network as well as colleagues within the support organisation on test approaches to ensure sufficient rigour and confidence in the change outcome.
Leading the regression testing efforts for the bi annual Workday functionality releases, including working with network representatives to ensure local testing requirements are validated.
Ensuring the life cycle of any identified defects are appropriately recorded and tracked through to resolution, including any changes to testing approaches or regressions scripts for future use.
Creating of end of test phase reports detailing status of test results, including number of defects identified, resolved, and outstanding.
Maintaining the KAINOS Smart testing tool, including ongoing maintenance of some 4,000 existing testing scripts and looking for ongoing opportunities to continually innovate and automate the testing approaches by using KAINOS.
Minimum of 2-3 years working in an application testing services role.
Being analytically minded and capable of looking at requirements from multiple angles to ensure production of robust testing plans.
Experience of testing both online functionality, processes and testing of technical components such as integrations and APIs/Web Services.
Knowledge and/or expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, and Kanban
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Competent in “Business English”.
Experience in working in a global/virtual team environment.
Experience of testing applications supporting Human Capital Management or Talent Systems.
Experience of using/working with Workday HCM application.
Experience of using test management tools such as MS VSTS or HP SM9 for management of defects.
Experience of using Kainos Smart.
