Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dynamic and versatile Product Marketing Manager to join our Cyber Security Sales & Marketing Team (SMT) with responsibility for the Incident Response proposition at what is an exciting time of change for this high growth business.

The successful candidate will be involved in developing and delivering product and proposition plans to support growth in key parts of the diverse, sizeable and fast evolving Cyber Security business unit.

Cyber Security is part of PwC’s Assurance line of service. You will report to the Sales & Marketing Senior Manager and ultimately, the Head of Sales & Marketing for Assurance. You will also be part of the broader PwC Assurance Sales & Marketing Team and will draw upon this wider network for development and delivery support.

About the role

SMT is a centralised support function and covers all aspects of professional services marketing, sales support and business development. The prime area of focus for the function is to support the development and implementation of the firm’s market strategy and in particular to deliver:

  • Revenue growth

  • Enhanced relationships and networks

  • A distinctive brand experience

Our firm’s strategy is designed to provide a sharper focus on market issues in order to prioritise growth opportunities and align our resources to deliver them.

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defining and developing a product strategy that delivers on the goals of the Cyber Security business unit for the Cyber Incident Response proposition.

  • Translating the product strategy into a prioritised delivery roadmap with milestones, and also feed into external marketing communication plans and leading delivery of this.

  • Designing and project managing the delivery of the product go to market plan, multi-channel campaigns and activities to support growth in Incident Response.

  • Overseeing delivery of a variety of marketing activities including direct marketing, digital, events programmes, awards and sponsorships.

  • Managing internal sales enablement communications and engagement programmes to support growth ambitions.

  • Maintaining knowledge of industry and competitor developments and evolving the product strategy to keep it relevant.

  • Anticipating product features by tracking dependent product strategies, eliciting stakeholder input and collecting business needs.

  • Being responsible for continuous improvement of the product; identifying improvements and enhancements.

  • Developing relationships with senior PwC stakeholders, technical teams and clients.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Graduate calibre with demonstrable experience of product development and product life-cycle management within the technology sector.

  • Preferably (not essential) experience managing and developing Cyber Security products and services. Ideally with broad knowledge of relevant technologies, including: Incident Response, Threat Detection (across Endpoint and Network domains), Access Governance, Transformation, Cloud

  • Experience communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels within organisations, including oral and written presentations, proposals, specifications, and reports.

  • Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organisation, and in a variety of contexts, including Director / Partner level.

  • Experience managing commercial and contractual relationships with third party suppliers and partners.

  • Evidence of problem solving and providing creative solutions.

  • Commercially aware and outcome focussed.

  • Self-starter with experience in working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong analytical ability, with experience of capturing, analysing and developing recommendations based upon complex ROI data sets.

  • The ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives, and to manage multiple projects.

  • An eye for emerging trends and a curious mind.
