Who we're looking for

This is a great opportunity for an experienced marketing manager to join a high performing sales and marketing team in a dynamic, exciting and challenging part of our Deals business. You will be supporting a team within our Business Recovery Services practice, based in London.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in marketing. They will be able to deliver commercial, multi channel campaigns that are focused on return in investment.

About The Role

The Marketing Manager would work directly with senior partners and their teams to establish and execute marketing strategy and campaigns, to win work, build relationships and grow revenue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering a variety of marketing activities. The current focus in the team is on a flagship annual campaign, evolving the team’s social media and digital presence. This is a highly visible role and an opportunity to influence and to make an impact. You will be part of a credible team as the go-to digital expert; developing strategies and executing across various digital channels.

  • Working with the BRS sales and marketing team (SMT), the Marketing manager will evolve and deliver marketing strategy for the Operational Restructuring (OR) team. OR focuses on delivering operational change and adding value to their clients through a number of propositions, including rapid cost reduction and managing working capital.

  • Drive the BRS Working Capital flagship marketing campaign - working with the editorial team and lead partner to generate content and push to market through various channels.

  • Analyse and develop approach of digital marketing campaigns (website, social networks, video and paid search).

  • Be the Sales and Marketing team point of contact with account teams, advising on best routes to market.

  • Use firmwide SMT network to make sure marketing activity is joined-up across different lines of services, bringing in content from other areas of the business and making sure that our content reaches all relevant routes to market.

  • Drive, manage and deliver the Social Media strategy to achieve agreed results to improve engagement, social selling and recognition of partners and their teams.

  • Work with website team to manage and maintain online presence. Effectively manage SEO to ensure maximum exposure cross all platforms.

The ideal candidate would bring energy, passion for excellent client service and a proactive approach.

Role requirements

Essential skills needed for the role:
  • Experienced individual of graduate calibre with strong experience in marketing.

  • Self-starter but able to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Experience of managing diverse senior stakeholder groups.

  • Proactive with a positive ‘can do’ approach.

  • Emotional intelligence and an ability to flex style to the situation.

Desirable skills sought for the role:
  • Experience in professional services preferred, but not essential.

  • Understanding of business recovery desirable, but not essential.

  • An expert understanding of digital marketing with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives.

  • Creative and innovative approach, with evidence of using this to develop new routes to market within a professional services role or similar environment.

  • A sound business understanding as well as being commercially and risk aware.
