About the team

​PwC’s Tax Transformation & Innovations team is charged with supporting our market-leading Tax practice through continuous technology-enabled change, enhancing the service we offer our clients, and ensuring our practice is fit for the future. This team is made up of a group of experienced professionals from a diverse range of backgrounds - including tax specialists, business analysts, and change managers.

About the role
  • You will be supporting the Commercial and Strategy Leader​ by taking the lead on managing the financial business case for the programme (working cross functionally with People, Resourcing and Finance), assisting with the production of management reports and strategy papers, and data modelling as required (i.e. demand forecasting, workforce planning, and benefits tracking). As the scope of the programme changes and expands, so may the role.

Essential skills and experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills​, e.g. vlookups, pivot tables, ​data visualisation/​building dashboards, and standardising analysis

  • ​Comfortable taking disparate non-standard data sets, and transforming them into consistent, robust, and sustainable models

  • Can clearly articulate numbers and pick out key data​ in a coherent and simple ​terms for management reporting

  • Comfortable with demand modelling and workforce planning

  • Experience of designing/implementing benefits realisation plans

  • Able to develop and design dashboards​ for tracking and reporting of the benefits realisation plan

  • Able to maintain and manage updates to financial business cases

  • Provide support to the People lead to articulate the quantitative element of demand/recruitment needs

  • Provide support to the team to articulate budget challenges
