Knowledge Preferred:
  • specific infrastructure and application technologies used by PwC to implement and operate advanced cloud hosted collaboration services;

  • applying technical understanding in support of the associated technologies;

  • deploying or managing Google Apps for Work/G Suite installations;

  • operating global, highly available SaaS services;

  • HP SM9, Service Now or similar ITSM system;

  • user provisioning models and approaches, related tools and directory services;

  • Microsoft Active Directory and Identity Manager (FIM), and LDAP directory technologies;

  • Google G Suite directory and directory synchronisation services;

  • Using analytical skills when evaluating potential solutions; and,

  • Business and operational management.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:

  • Operating and administering specific services in support of the firm’s enterprise architecture vision and applicable technical standards;

  • Implementing support for new PwC entities and Google services in alignment with the consistent delivery of collaboration services across all member firms;

  • Facilitating the use of market leading cloud based collaboration technologies across the network of member firms by providing administrative and operational support to the users of these services;

  • Working collaboratively with the service manager, other members of the managed service and implementation teams, and individuals who support enabling technologies used by the service;

  • Exercising due diligence when assessing operational risks and proposing technical solutions that will meet service manager expectations;

  • Developing and maintaining technical processes, including supporting documentation, associated with the establishment and operation of specific collaboration services;

  • Supporting other members of the managed service and implementation teams, the member firms who consume these services, and suppliers assisting with technology deployments or ongoing operations;

  • Implementing technical solutions that align with the firm’s technology vision as laid out by the solution architects;

  • Developing and maintaining a current understanding of the technical architecture and designs associated with the cloud collaboration services delivered, and all relevant enabling technologies;

  • Providing leadership on the administration of the specific technologies and services needed to deliver the identified services;

  • Defining and maintaining administrative processes that support existing and new collaboration services and capabilities;

  • Collaborating with the service manager and member firms who consume these services to ensure alignment is achieved and maintained across member firms;

  • Assuming super administrator responsibilities for the global Google G Suite service, including assisting with the controlling, maintenance and monitoring of the firm’s Google G Suite global service while meeting all legal and security requirements;

  • Assisting with the controlling, maintenance and monitoring of the Google G Suite service across all of PwC, in alignment with agreed governance procedures while coordinating with other Google G Suite service managers and administrators, and carrying this out under the direction of the global service manager;

  • Respecting the approved technical design and all processes to ensure agreed quality and service levels are maintained;

  • Working in complex technical environments;

  • Working with IBM Notes and Domino;

  • Learning other technical aspects of deploying Google Apps for Work; and,

  • Staying self motivated.
