Organisational Change Consultant
Due to increased demand from our clients, our multi-award winning People & Organisation Consulting practice is growing. We work across three main clusters, Government and Health Industries, Financial Services and Private Sector, helping our clients deliver successful transformation programmes. We understand the importance of ensuring people are put front and centre of any change, be it implementing new technology or a complete organisation restructure. We have particular expertise in Organisation Design, Behaviour Change, Leadership and Culture, and Workforce Capability and Learning.
Our team of skilled change consultants have an impressive track record of working with our clients to support them through major transformational change, from establishing, reviewing and taking a lead in change management activities, preparing the case for change and building commitment to it, building the required culture, capability and leadership (including leadership development) programmes to make change stick, and managing the HR transition, covering relocation, terms and conditions and reward.
Who we’re looking for
We now have exciting opportunities for experienced organisational change practitioners with significant experience of delivering complex transformational change programmes.
The successful individuals will work with senior organisational change consultants and other business consultants, to develop strategies and approaches to help our clients manage through periods of large scale change and equip them with the relevant skills to manage the people impact. They will have the skills and experience to coach leadership and executive teams to create alignment and to advise on culture and behavioural change.
About the role
The successful candidates will :
Plan, scope and shape organisation and culture change projects and programmes.
Work collaboratively with clients to develop the vision, benefits and case for change; analyse the change approach; assess change readiness and develop communication and engagement strategies.
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of change management strategies, advising clients about how to lead and manage their teams through periods of change.
Manage client relationships, be known as a trusted advisor as well as respected by PwC colleagues.
Demonstrate knowledge of best practice tools and techniques in the area of organisation change and culture.
Manage teams of people and support the development of more junior members of staff.
Support business development by managing proposals and bids, and contributing to new market propositions.
Assist with managing risk, financial and compliance procedures on their projects.
Demonstrable change management experience gained in a consultancy setting.
A proven knowledge of prevailing change management trends, emergent practices and a track record of innovating in one or more change management area.
Excellent skills in diagnosing a fit-for-purpose change approach, developing the approach and then implementing it.
A proven track record of delivering complex programmes of work and an ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
Demonstrable consulting skills, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Ability to develop and facilitate workshops with client teams.
Be available to travel to client sites across the UK and Europe on a regular basis
Proficient with Microsoft office.
Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
Experience in Financial Services and/or Financial Services Risk and Regulation.
Experience of working with large public sector clients.
Relevant professional qualification, such as MSc in a relevant discipline, CIPD qualification or a qualification in psychometric testing.
