Pursuit Manager in Consulting
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for hungry, driven and engaging Pursuit Managers who are passionate about helping our teams navigate the pursuit cycle for our Financial Services, Government and Health Industries and Private Cluster Pursuit Hubs in Consulting. These roles will also be part of the wider Consulting Pursuits team of over 20 people which will continue to grow and evolve in the coming months.
You’ll have excellent project management and coaching skills and an ability to think commercially and see the bigger picture. You’ll need to be confident to provide your views and challenge and support teams in a constructive manner and build strong relationships across Consulting.
These roles will work closely with the respective Pursuit Hub Lead and the Partner team. In this role, the successful candidates will:
Provide end-to-end support throughout a proposal life cycle, including proposal management and advice, presentation coaching and obtaining client feedback
Work with stakeholders across Consulting to align support to priority areas and drive proposal best practice, whether that’s through training, reporting on key trends or other means.
Make recommendations on relevant propositions and collateral to share with clients.
Facilitate kick off, storyboarding and win themes sessions and provide independent review and challenge of win themes, proposals and other bid materials.
Reviewing proposal document and collateral
Carry out internal pitch team de-brief and conduct Post Decision Reviews (PDRs) with the client.
Bring the best of PwC by connecting teams with relevant people and departments such as Design.
Work closely with Marketing and Business Development to form a seamless value chain for our clients.
Play a key role in the Cluster and wider Pursuit Hub team as a Sales professional who is an expert at delivering the Pursuit and BXT approaches and methodologies.
Be an active member of the Pursuits and Proposals capability and the wider Sales & Marketing function.
Proven track record in a similar Pursuit/Proposals coaching role, with an expert understanding of sales best practice and a client focused outlook.
Experienced, self-motivated individual of graduate calibre with a proven track record in delivering proposal management and bid advice for high value proposals.
Experience of proposal coaching, advising and proposals support with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives.
Self-starter able to work effectively as part of a team.
Creative and innovative approach.
Excellent proven project management skills.
Experience of managing diverse senior stakeholder groups.
Proactive with a positive ‘can do’ approach.
Emotional intelligence and an ability to flex style to the situation.
Experience of working in the consulting market would be beneficial.
