Senior Manager – Business Development in Private Cluster - Consulting
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced, senior business development professional to work in our Private Cluster in Consulting and as part of the wider Consulting Pursuits team. This roles will also be part of the wider Consulting Pursuits team of over 20 people which will continue to grow and evolve in the coming months.
This role will work closely with the Private Cluster Pursuit Hub Leader and the Cluster Chair whilst reporting in to the Head of Pursuits within Consulting.
In this role, the successful candidate will:
Drive and communicate sales campaigns both externally and internally. Take key consulting propositions and relevant alliances to priority accounts, to the regional market and to large opportunities.
Have a sound knowledge of the pipeline and follow up on the strategic opportunities. Making important, timely and helpful/necessary interventions to ensure we make the most of every client interaction.
Operate as a Pursuit coach on key opportunities providing market and competitor insights, propositions, foresight and thought leadership and bringing in the best of PwC through their network.
Help teams to prepare and position for Mandatory Firm Rotation (MFR).
Build relationships with clients through PwC sponsored client events and hospitality.
Support the Priority accounts by working on specific accounts that need extra focus to hit their targets or would benefit from additional support.
Playing a key role in the Pursuits team and become known as a Sales professional who is a champion of the best sales behaviours.
Flex to support the Pursuit teams and Cluster’s needs as required.
Be an active member of the Pursuits and Proposals capability and the wider Sales & Marketing function.
Proven track record in the identification, development and conversion of opportunities, with an expert understanding of sales best practice and a client focused outlook.
Evidence of excellent influencing and communication skills and the capability to challenge and manage senior stakeholders.
Proactive with a positive can do approach.
Self-starter able to work effectively as a member of a team.
The ability to form networks with partners and staff at all levels.
Commercially and risk aware.
Current experience of the private sector landscape and/or consulting market would be of benefit.
