What we do

Our TS FDD team based in Belfast is a market-leading team at the centre of an active and integrated global network of TS teams. We advise our clients on deals with values ranging from sub £1 million to over £50 million, our clients are engaging in restructuring and M&A transactions in many industry sectors internationally, and in joining our team you can play a part in helping our clients to meet their business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work on both corporate and private equity transactions that will be high profile, varied and challenging.

The role will include:
  • Writing FDD reports for our corporate and private equity clients across a range of industry sectors

  • Analysing financial and non-financial business information

  • Identifying key value drivers and deal breakers (financial and non-financial)

  • Managing international and multidisciplinary teams to deliver an integrated TS product

  • Sharing your experience and developing other team members through the deal process

  • Understanding the processes in due diligence work including dealing with risk

Requirements:

The following skills are required for this role:
  • ACA/ICAS/CPA qualified (or equivalent Accountancy qualification)

  • Wide range of client experience

  • Financial due diligence experience within an advisory practice or experience that is complementary to doing financial due diligence: i.e. experience of analysing financial information to identify key commercial drivers, risks and opportunities and reviewing financial projections

  • Ability to identify key business issues

  • Experience of managing and leading teams (coaching and mentoring, providing direction)

  • Effective business writing and Excel skills

  • Analytical skills and commercial awareness; be able to provide insights to our clients to be able to provide valuable advice.

  • Ability to identify key issues

  • A flexible working style, with the ability to adapt to change

  • Interpersonal skills (be able to quickly build collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally)

  • Passionate about client service

  • Ability to deliver against tight deadlines

  • Strong communication skills (questioning and listening skills)

  • Proactive with regard to self - development

Desirable skills:
  • Report writing skills

  • Experience working across agri-food, retail & consumer and/or technology sectors

  • Project management of medium to large assignments
