Network Cost Analyst

This role will be part of the Finance Operations team in Network Operations. This team has overall responsibility for management and financial reporting and budgeting for network related costs incurred across the PwC Network. This team manages the production of statutory reporting for central entities, providing interpretation and administration of policies relating to accounting, internal control and has oversight of the outsourced service teams providing bookkeeping services for the central entities. The team act as a business partner to the network and its leadership to support the development and execution of various business strategies.

About the role

This role will be reporting directly to the Network Costs manager. The responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Supporting the Network Costs manager working with our Data and Reporting teams to ensure the provision of relevant and materially correct monthly reporting, management information and decision support to stakeholders across the PwC Network

  • Acting in a finance support role for Network Operations including the preparation of monthly commentary reports the resolution for our internal stakeholders and the financial management of the Book of Shared Service (BSS) reporting for Network Operation sponsored services

  • Dealing with territory finance teams and stakeholders to address issues identified in the Network cost reports and providing transactional financial support to internal stakeholder groups

  • Providing the specific monthly reporting required in relation to meetings and travel spend by Network Costs functions

  • Preparing currency analyses of Network Costs expenditure on a regular basis for our global Treasury team

  • Providing assistance and support to other members of the Network Operations team such as the Service Company and BSS managers as required

Who we’re looking for

Education and Awareness

  • Part qualified and actively studying for an Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

Work Experience and Skills

  • Experience in Accounting/Finance solutions covering work ideally in a financial services led organisation

  • Strong accounting(including an understanding the impacts of costs reported in multiple currencies), project spend cost analysis and internal controls focus

  • Team player comfortable and confident with dealing with a wide range of stakeholders across the PwC Network

  • Knowledge of MS Office preferably to an advanced level
