We are seeking to recruit a number of Procurement professionals to join an already successful team to help deliver transformational projects around the Procurement agenda. Our Procurement Transformation team within the Operations practice is focussed on working in partnership with clients to deliver real business transformation across a number of industry sectors.
We are specifically looking for those with experience across the government / public sector
Essential Skills & Experience
Government/public sector industry experience is required for this role. (Manufacturing or FMCG experience will also be considered).Previous Consulting /professional services advisory experience is also preferred
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record in some or all of the following:
Development of procurement vision and strategy
Delivering a procurement improvement programme with successful outcomes
Purchase to pay process
Supplier Management and supplier risk management
Low carbon procurement/sustainable procurement
Contract tendering and contract management
Delivery of e-procurement solutions
Procurement policy and procedures development
Transition management from the previous to the new
Business case development
Procurement benefit realisation management
Tax optimised procurement structures.
As well as technical knowledge and experience, you must be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, management experience , commercial acumen and ability to thrive in a team environment.
